Drew, Duke receive Sedley Woman’s Club scholarships

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) Sedley Woman’s Club awarded scholarships at a meeting in April to two Southampton High School seniors.
A club news release noted that the Club Scholarship went to Rylee Drew, daughter of Amanda and Christopher Drew. Rylee will be attending Tidewater Community College with plans to become a veterinary tech.
Tyler Duke received the Sarah and Reginald Bradshaw Memorial Scholarship, established by Pat Rideout in memory and honor of her grandparents. Tyler will be attending New River Community College where he plans to become proficient in instruments and controls technology.
“The GFWC Sedley Woman’s Club congratulates these fine graduates and wishes them much success,” club officials stated.
