FRANKLIN – Sophia Jane Hines, 90, passed away April 15, 2025 at Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth. She was born in Rich Square, North Carolina to the late Milan and Bessie Hines.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 27, at 2 p.m. at Diamond Grove Baptist Church (also known as GEMS Church), located at 30466 Riverdale Drive in Franklin, with Pastor Quentin Franklin officiating. Visitation for Mrs. Hines will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 2 – 6 p.m. at William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main Street in Franklin and other times at the home.
