To support U.S. military service members and veterans pursuing higher education, the Virginia Veteran Laptop Project (VVLP) recently donated 20 laptops to Camp Community College. This marks the second consecutive year of such contributions, underscoring the project’s commitment to aiding military-affiliated students.
The VVLP is a collaborative initiative involving the Virginia Community College System (VCCS), the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (VDVS), and Tech for Troops, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing digital skills training and technology to veterans and their families.
This partnership aims to enhance educational and workforce opportunities for veterans across Virginia.
The donated laptops are available to active duty U.S. military service members, veterans, and their spouses currently enrolled in Camp Community College classes. This initiative ensures that military-affiliated students have access to the necessary technology to succeed in their academic pursuits.
