FRANKLIN – Pastor Melvin Murphy of Maplewood Avenue, Franklin, transitioned on March 26, 2025 in Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 2 – 6 p.m. On Saturday, April 5, a celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. at East End Church of God, 410 East Street in Franklin with Apostle Jullian Ricks delivering the message of comfort; Elder Ronald Barnes is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Southview Cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 South Main Street in Franklin.
