Isle of Wight County Museum Curator Rachel Popp visited the Woman’s club of Windsor at their February meeting. She gave an overview of the museum collection.

The museum will assist the town in celebrating Windsor’s 123rd birthday on March 15. The town was founded on that date in 1902.

Local historian Clyde Parker will tell the story of the 1912-1926 Roanoke Railway Company that enabled large quantities of lumber to supply the Camp mill in southwestern Isle of Wight County. The museum will bring artifacts from its collection which highlight the town of Windsor. Attendees are invited to bring some of their own images or artifacts to share and enjoy birthday cake following the talk. The event will be held at the Windsor Town Center, 23361 Courthouse Highway, Windsor.
