Franklin High School senior football standouts Altavis Turner and Travis Mabry Jr. recently traveled to Bluefield University and met with Dewey Lusk, its head football coach, to earn their second scholarship offer to continue their athletic career at the collegiate level. For their play this past season with the Broncos, Mabry was named to the All-Tri-Rivers District first team as a running back and the second team as a defensive back and punt returner and Turner received all-district honorable mention at the quarterback position.
