COURTLAND – Jeffrey Owen Mundell, 70, passed away March 3, 2025 in VCU/MCV Medical Center. Born Jan. 26, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Kokomo, Indiana, he was a son of the late Max and Nita Mundell.

Jeffrey was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the Navy with 22 years of service and a retired Civil Service Audiologist with 20 years of service. He was a member of Cypress Cove Country Club and loved to play golf. He was a lifetime musician and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 33 years, Leesa Smith Mundell; his son, Matthew Marshall Mundell of Mary Esther, Florida; a sister, Sherry M. Brown (Marty); and a granddaughter, Catalina Mundell.
A celebration of life with full military honors will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at VFW Post No. 4411, 3385 Beaverdam Road in Franklin.
