The Franklin High School JROTC department hosted a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Feb. 5.

An FHS news release noted that hosting a high school blood drive offers students the opportunity to engage in community service and build class spirit while providing education to students about the importance of donating blood and the impact students can have on saving lives in their community.

There will be one additional blood drive scheduled this school year.

JROTC students extended thanks to FHS faculty and the community for their participation and support.
