Isle of Wight County Schools announced Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 18, that all of the division’s schools and offices will be closed for all students and staff on Wednesday, Feb. 19, due to the forecast of significant snow impacting the county.

The IWCS news release added that all school activities and events are also canceled. 

“Teachers shared work with students today to be completed should IWCS remain closed for an extended period of time,” school officials stated in the release. “More information on asynchronous work will be shared with families as part of any announcements regarding school closures for Thursday and/or Friday.”
