FRANKLIN – Judy Kay Middleton, 74, widow of Elijah Middleton, passed away Feb. 12, 2025 in her home with family by her side. Born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and raised in Suffolk, she was a daughter of the late James Smith Barnes and Irene Brown Barnes.
Judy was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Cheryl A. Jones of Hampton and Cynthia M. Condiff of Grovetown, Georgia; a sister, Carolyn Bryant of Franklin; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two nephews.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their care.
