CARRSVILLE – Bertha Mae Evans Bowers of Burdette Road, Carrsville, was born to the late James B. and Annie N. Stokes Evans, on November 10, 1930, in Isle of Wight County, Carrsville. On June 9, 2024, God called her to claim eternal rest and peace. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3 – 7 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, at 1 p.m. at Chapel Grove United Church of Christ, 7366 West Blackwater Road in Windsor with the Rev. Roy Stokes delivering the eulogy. The committal and benediction will follow in the church cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
