To the Editor:

If you follow politics even only a little bit, you can probably remember that when Obama was running for president in 2008, he stated, “We will fundamentally transform America.”  Well, my friends, if you look around these days, you can see that he has almost succeeded.  Even four years of Trump did not put enough of a brake on the transformation.  So, in about 200 days, we have an opportunity to fix it.

I have been thinking these past few days that it might be a bit too early to say anything about the November elections.  However, a friend reminded me that four more years of Biden and his cronies running the country would mean a frightening continuation of Obama’s fundamental transformation.

It would mean another 10 million or more illegal invaders (who may very likely be allowed to vote), another round of price increases, a continuing assault on freedom of speech, more weaponizing of our justice system, and much more spending of money we do not have.  All you have to do is look at the national crime wave, many repeat offenders, the problem of recruiting police officers, the blatant hypocrisy of our elected leaders, and the increased cost of government to realize that we are definitely NOT better off than we were four years ago.  Simply look at your grocery bill and your fuel bill.

I never thought that I would ever quote Joe Biden in a letter to the editor. However, after much thought, I would like to remind all you voters out there who may be considering voting for Tim Kaine and Joe Biden in November, using a recent quote from Biden when asked what he would tell the Iranians who were planning to attack Israel: “DON’T.”
