Franklin PD searching for missing teen

UPDATE: Brayden Evans has been located and is safe without injury.

The City of Franklin Police Department is seeking assistance in locating Brayden Evans, a 13-year-old black male, described as approximately five feet, seven inches in height and weighing around 120 pounds, with an inch-long fade hairstyle. Brayden Evans departed a residence in the 1100 block of Railroad Avenue, Franklin, Virginia, at approximately 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd of April 2024 and has not been seen or heard from since. He was riding a yellow bicycle, wearing all black clothing, and carrying a camouflage Minecraft backpack. Currently, there is no belief that Brayden Evans is in danger or in need of services.
