Southampton County Sheriff’s Office searching for robbery suspects

Courtland, Virginia —  On April 4, Southampton County Sheriff’s Office says a robbery occurred in the 25000 block of Oak Trail apartments and is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the individuals. According to a media release, deputies made contact with the victim, who advised she had been robbed in the parking lot of the apartment complex by three men. The victim’s purse, credit cards, and cash were stolen. The victim told deputies she was physically assaulted and suffered a minor injury. Detectives were able to identify one of the three suspects as Dalveon Ricks, 24, of Franklin.

Warrants for Ricks’ arrest have been obtained for violation of the Code of Virginia 18.2-47 Abduction, 18.2-53.1 (x2) Use of a firearm in commission of felony, 18.2-422 Wearing a mask in a public place with intent to conceal identity, 18.2-58 Robbery, 18.2-57 Assault and Battery, 18.2-192 Credit card theft, and 18.2-95 Grand larceny.
SHSO’s investigation indicated originally that Ricks fled the state but now indicates that Ricks may be back in the area. At this time, Dalveon Ricks has not been apprehended. Ricks is described as
a black male, approximately 5’11”, weighing 220 lbs., with his current hair and beard style unknown.

The individuals pictured were identified as the suspects in the robbery. The subjects needing to be identified are the male to the far left and the male in the center of the photograph. The male to the far right has already been identified as Ricks.
