LANCASTER, Pennsylvania – Colon R. Paul Jr., affectionately known as “Randy,” passed away suddenly on April 3, 2024, at the age of 66. Born to the late Colon R. Paul Sr. and Agnes Paul in Virginia, Randy dedicated many years of his life to his craft as a welder. In addition to his professional pursuits, Randy also volunteered as a firefighter, serving both in Virginia and for a time

In his leisure time, Randy found happiness in the great outdoors. He embarked on countless camping adventures and cherished moments spent by the beach. A lover of classic Westerns starring John Wayne and a devoted Redskins football fan, Randy found great joy in his favorite pastimes.

Above all else, Randy treasured his family. He is survived by his loving son, Trey Paul and his partner, Kiersten Fazekas, as well as his daughter, Kimberly Herr, wife of Jonathan, whom he shared with the late Charlene Paul. His beloved grandchildren, Miranda, Trisha, Shawna and Corbin, who he adored and enjoyed time spent with will miss him greatly. He is also survived by his mother, Agnes Paul, his siblings, Barbara Kingensmith, Becky Tramel and Mike Paul and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In honoring Randy’s memory, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Randy’s kindness, generosity and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered and cherished by those whose lives he touched.
