Representatives from the Virginia Veteran Laptop Project (VVLP) recently visited Camp Community College to deliver 20 laptops for U.S. military active duty service members and U.S. military veterans who are enrolled at the college.
The program is administered through the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) and Virginia Department of Veterans Services (VDVS) through Tech for Troops, a nonprofit that assists veterans and their families by providing sustainable lifelong digital skills backed through training, education and technology.
VVLP is available at all 23 VCCS colleges. Students must be currently enrolled in classes to be eligible and must be active duty military, a veteran or veteran’s spouse.
