Early in the FCPS School Board meeting on March 21, Dr. Carlton Carter, Superintendent of Franklin City Public Schools, presented a plaque of appreciation to School Resource Officer Trisha Martinez (pictured). With them is Alex Johnson. School Resource Officer Appreciation Day 2024 was on Thursday, Feb. 15. Officer Martinez could not attend the meeting that night, so it was rescheduled for the March session.
