FRANKLIN – Judith Rose “Judy” Ballance, 81, passed away April 5, 2024 in Sentara Obici Hospital. 

Judy was a retired office manager of James L. Camp Jr. YMCA.  

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Susan Ballance Denton (Eric); a son, Paul Russell Ballance (Tate); a sister, Kathleen R. Gies; and seven grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Kingdom Impact, 26151 Delaware Rd., Franklin, VA 23851.
