WOODBRIDGE, Virginia – Joyce A. Richardson Armour, 82, daughter of the late Dr. Walter P. and Thelma Holland Richardson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, Woodbridge, Virginia.

Born in Franklin, she and her parents were charter members of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a 1959 graduate of Hayden High School, 1971 graduate of Norfolk State College, the wife of the late Milton M. Armour Jr., and a retired educator of Thomas A. Edison High School in Alexandria Virginia.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 1 p.m. at William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 224 S. Main Street in Franklin, followed by a private interment.
