It was difficult not to feel the holiday cheer at Nottoway Elementary School in the days prior to Winter Break as the students studied about Christmas traditions from around the world, created ornaments and edible holiday crafts, sang Christmas carols through the halls, dressed up as Santa Claus and his elves, hosted a school-wide “Day of Carols,” and even walked into the building through “snow.” Enjoying the holidays through the eyes of a child can be very magical indeed!
