Recently at the Monday, Jan. 15, MLK Event sponsored by Franklin Tri-County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and Girl Scout Group #5073, participants brought 55 throw blankets, three neck pillows, 14 cases of bottled water, and 24 packs of nabs to be donated to local dialysis centers. On Wednesday, Jan. 17, Chapter President Angela Artis, Chair of Social Action Sabrina Tann, Chair of Project Program Planning and Development Kisha Watford, and Chapter Vice President Joe Ann Faulk, presented the donations to the DaVita SoCo Dialysis the Fresenius Kidney Care Dialysis Centers in Franklin. We commend the Franklin Tri-County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Girl Scout Group #5073 for their support of community members.
