Rock Church Franklin recently prepared gifts for the Franklin Police Department, with Pastor Danny Dillon and his wife Jill Dillon making the delivery. Danny said, “We produced the cards with a note from Jill and I. Then the church members took them and added their own note of thankfulness and had their kids draw pictures. (The cards) also contained gift cards to Serve Restaurant.” Pictured during the presentation are, from left, Danny Dillon, Officer Jerry Wright and Officer Cody Atonic. In response to Rock Church’s kindness, FPD Chief Steve Patterson said, “The gifts given to our staff continue to build on partnerships that make our community safer. When the community and police work together, undoubtedly there is a sense of trust which leads to the ability for both sides to come together and work to solve problems.” We commend Rock Church Franklin for its thoughtful and benevolent gifts that helped to encourage those sworn to serve and protect our community.
