Windsor police seek public’s help to ID robbery suspects

The Windsor Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in a Dec. 17 targeted home invasion robbery that left an elderly male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

A Tuesday, Jan. 9, news release from the WPD stated that at about 9:20 p.m. on Dec. 17, Windsor police responded to a residence in the 40 block of North Court Street for a report of a shooting. 

Upon arrival officers located an 81-year-old male victim inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound, the release noted. The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. 

The investigation determined that the victim was shot during the commission of a targeted home invasion robbery, the release stated. 

“The Windsor Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in this offense,” police said.
