SUFFOLK – Guy Renwick Massingill, 66, passed away on Dec. 13, 2023 in his home with his family by his side. Born on April 22, 1957, he was a son of the late Darmond and Leona McQueen Massingill.

Guy was a U.S. Army veteran and a long distance truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Janelle Elizabeth Massingill; two daughters, Melody Billington and Patricia Foster; two sons, Guy Massingill II and Jay Massingill; two brothers, Melvin Massingill and Wayne “Gene” Bittle; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28 in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
