FRANKLIN – Regina Denette Jenkins was called home No. 2, 2023. She was born on July 19, 1954, to parents Mamie Sykes Jenkins and Samuel P. Jenkins. Regina would graduate from Elizabeth City State University. She would marry Lawrence Spells shortly thereafter. She is survived by one son, a brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents and two sisters. Regina retired early from QVC to take care of her elderly mother. Through her journey on Earth she worked numerous positions, among them insurance claims, substitute teacher and warehouse worker. She will be sorely missed by all those who loved her.
