VIRGINIA BEACH – Jacqueline March Gellett passed away at her home on Dec. 1, 2023. She was born July 7, 1944 in Norfolk County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late, Linwood Dalton March and Shirley M. Butler of Franklin. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1962 and East Carolina University. Potomac/Bell Atlantic Telephone Company of Virginia after 23 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Lowell Gellett. She is survived by her

daughters, Andrea Cotton Stone of Charleston, South Carolina and Allison Lea Cotton of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Jay Sample of Virginia Beach and Jordan Sample of Richmond, Virginia; siblings, Gwendolyn March Peters, Linwood Dalton March Jr., JoAnn West and Raymond West; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to the Wounded Warriors, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jackson, FL 32256 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
