Capron Elementary School was recently fortunate to enjoy a visit from the Capron Volunteer Fire Department for the purpose of educating students about firefighting equipment. A school news release noted that grades pre-K-2 were able to see a firetruck and learn about the different equipment used during emergencies. In the photo, a few of Mrs. Johnson’s first grade students, Justin Banty, Andres Gonzales, Kylie Perkins, Delaney Pooley and Naomi Barnes, pose with firefighter Lewis Seebo after watching a demonstration of how the equipment was used.
