He also attended Antioch Baptist Church in Yale, Virginia, when his oldest grandson was born. He never missed a baseball game of his grandsons and also attended gymnastic meets of his granddaughters. Most people do not know this but, he was one of the original members of the “Avalon Beach Bums” of the Outer Banks.

Family and friends will gather together at Wright Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. We ask instead of flowers, you make a donation to Tidewater Academy, 217 W. Church Street, Wakefield, VA 23888.

Last, but not least, Frankie was an organ donor, which was very important to him.
