Capron Elementary hosts Title I Meeting/‘Book or Treat’ Family Night

Capron Elementary School recently hosted its annual Title I General Meeting and “Book or Treat” Family Fun Night.
“Our night started off with a wonderfully informative PowerPoint presentation given by Title I Specialist Mrs. Lorraine Whitehead,” CES officials stated in a news release. “Mrs. Whitehead explained to the parents and students how our Title I-funded school operates and the benefits provided by the program.”
Then, the students, some dressed in elaborate costumes, visited all the book-themed stations to receive a variety of candy and toys, as well as a book, among other special treats.
“They also had the opportunity to view all the creative literacy pumpkins created by some of our talented CES students,” school officials stated. “It was a fun family night, and everyone had a blast.”
