The October Franklin High School Employee of the Month is Sha-Keya Barnes. “Mrs. Barnes works well with our eighth grade students and has established a rapport with our student body,” school officials said in a news release. “She serves in a variety of capacities to include tutoring students after school and assisting with admission fees for our home athletic events. She takes great pride in the school by actively participating in our weekly spirit days and schoolwide special events.” Officials described her as “an asset to our school as a former middle school educator who is a familiar face to our Thetamores.”
