Franklin’s first Brownie Scout Troop was formed on April 9, 1947, with Edith F. Vache’ as its organizing leader and Betsy Allport and Carolyn Vaughan as assistant leaders.
This picture was taken in 1948 when Betsy Allport was Troop Leader and Olive Camp and Margaret Wheless were assistant troop leaders.
