Congratulations to Robert Barnes, Chris DeBord and Christopher Plummer on the long-awaited opening of Southampton Motor Speedway. Self-described as just three regular guys with 9 to 5 jobs, they have put their heart and soul into bringing the speedway back to life after almost 20 years. The grand opening was held Aug. 19 and featured drifting, food vendors and games for children. Events are scheduled throughout the fall and winter according to SouthamptonMotorSpeedway.com.
