ODU Mobile Health Clinic schedule set for September

The Old Dominion University Community Care Mobile Health Clinic recently announced its schedule for September, which includes a variety of locations in Franklin and Southampton County.
“Take a look at our new partners and locations,” ODU Community Care Director Tammy Speerhas stated in an email. “We are very excited to expand our footprint in the Southampton community.”
The schedule, as provided on an ODU Community Care flier, is as follows:
- Tuesday, Sept. 5 — S.P. Morton Elementary School, 300 Morton St., Franklin
- Wednesday, Sept. 6 — Southampton County Admin Building, 26022 Administration Center Drive, Courtland
- Thursday, Sept. 7 — Martin Luther King Center, 683 Oak St., Franklin
- Tuesday, Sept. 12 — J.P. King Jr. Middle School, 501 Charles St., Franklin
- Wednesday, Sept. 13 — Boykins Fire Department, 18139 N. Railroad Ave., Boykins
- Thursday, Sept. 14 — Franklin Farmers Market, 210 S. Main St., Franklin
- Tuesday, Sept. 19 — Franklin High School, 310 Crescent Drive, Franklin
- Wednesday, Sept. 20 — Paul D. Camp Community College, 100 N. College Drive, Franklin
- Thursday, Sept. 21 — Paul D. Camp Community College, 100 N. College Drive, Franklin

The ODU Community Care Mobile Health Clinic offers free health care services, including acute/urgent and chronic care, school and sports physicals, general physicals and health screenings.
The mobile health clinic is designed to bridge the gap to people’s primary care physician or specialist.
