The third annual back to school event was held Aug. 26 at the Courtland Community Center. Organized, by Kashif Carter of Speaklife, and supported by numerous businesses, organizations, churches and nonprofits included free food, bounce houses, music, corn hole, games and even back packs stuffed with supplies for area children. A huge shout out to Carter and all the good folks at Blackwater Regional Library, Courtland Community Center, Courtland Hornets Inc., Dj Phil, Down The Middle, Foam R Us, Greater Oak Grove Baptist Church, Holly’s Crochet Creatures, Kingdom Culture Ministries, Kingdom Impact, Kymmies Kreations, Love Centered Church, Mt.
