SUFFOLK – On July 4, 2023, God called Mr. John A. Smith Sr. home. Born on May 13, 1934 to his parents the late Lloyd and Lucy Smith. John lived a long and fruitful life. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary C. Smith, whom he married on April 17, 1955. He is survived by a loving family who will forever cherish his memory.
A public viewing will be held on Saturday, July 8 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. in the Elvin Vaughan Memorial Chapel of Vaughan-Temple Funeral Home. His homegoing service will be held at the St. Paul United Church on Sunday, July 9, at 2 p.m.
