I am responding to the story about the catalytic converter thefts in Franklin. I noticed that the story states that the Franklin Police Department has been investigating the recent thefts. Is the police doing anything to help to prevent these thefts? Are they patrolling these areas more? Armory and College Drive seems to be the target area for these thefts. Armory and College Drive are two of the main areas that are frequently used daily. I saw a list of things that citizens can do to help prevent the theft from happening, but what is the Franklin Police doing to deter the thieves? The citizens of Franklin need more police presence to help to prevent this and other crimes from happening.
