The Southampton High School varsity boys soccer team came back against visiting Franklin High School on Wednesday, May 17, to earn a 2-1 victory in the Tri-Rivers District Tournament championship game.
The Indians (11-5) have earned the No. 2 seed in the Region 3A Tournament, giving them a first-round bye.
They are set to return to action in the quarterfinals Friday, May 26, at home against either No. 7 Petersburg High School or No. 10 Lakeland High School, which play each other in the first round on Wednesday, May 24.
