To the Editor:

I thoroughly enjoyed Clyde Parker’s article about the subjects. My father and his siblings grew up in Dendron, as well as Mr. Harold Atkinson, former Franklin City Manager. My aunt always referred to the S.S. & S. railroads as the “Sick, Sad, and Sorry” railroads. I have spent my life hunting deer along the Dory and Vicksville rights of way.
