The students of Samantha Priddy’s kindergarten class at Meherrin Elementary School seized the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather recently by taking their learning outdoors.

A school news release noted that the students were learning about living and nonliving things and were able to observe firsthand as they completed their activity sheets. As a bonus, they were able to soak up some vitamin D and fresh air while they worked.
