The students and staff of Nottoway Elementary School recently celebrated a staff member during National School Counselor Week that is near and dear to their hearts — Kim Walker-Lee.  

In an NES news release, school officials described Walker-Lee as an incredibly hardworking person with a heart for children and a great listening ear. 

“It seems only fitting that she was also selected to be Nottoway Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year,” NES officials stated. Addressing her directly, they said, “Congratulations, and thank you for all that you do!”
