The February Franklin High School Student of the Month is Phnon McDonald-Hicks. An FHS news release noted that McDonald-Hicks is a model student and citizen at Franklin High School. She is polite, respectful and hardworking. She is a member of Young Women In Action, Ladies of Distinction and Future Business Leaders of America. Currently, she is enrolled in several dual enrollment classes to earn an associate degree. “She is quiet and stays to herself to do what needs to be done for her education at FHS,” school officials said.
