FRANKLIN – Earnest Lankford of Harrison Street, Franklin, passed away on Feb. 25, 2023 in Bon Secours Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth. On Friday, a public viewing will be held at the funeral home from 3 -7 p.m. A homegoing service will be held on Saturday, March 4, at 2:30 p.m. at Hickory Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, 1419 Mariner Street in Franklin with the pastor, Rev. Vanessa Hinton delivering the eulogy. The interment will follow in Southview Cemetery.
