STAFFORD – Nancy Harman Randall, 80, went to heaven Feb. 18, 2023. Born in Binghamton, New York, she was a daughter of the late J. Handy Harman and Clara Perry Harman. She was also predeceased by her husband, James Parker Randall and a sister, Dawn Burnside.

Over the years Nancy and Jim ran several businesses to include a grocery store, diner, auction house and several racetracks. Nancy also ran her own businesses to include All Good Gifts with her sister, Susan and Competition Trophy. After moving to Franklin in 1995, she worked in the kitchen with detainees at the Southampton Men’s Detention Center, where she retired in 2004.

Nancy was a talented artist and loved making ceramics, crocheting, knitting, sewing, painting pictures and any other craft she could get her hands on. She also loved writing short stories and poems. She even published her poems in a book entitled ‘Food for Thought.’

She was a member of River of Life Baptist Church and was an active member of several knitting groups while living in Franklin. After moving to Stafford in 2021, to be with family, she started a knit group at Ramoth Baptist Church, where she also attended services.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Susan R. Iseminger (Sean) of Stafford, Virginia; two sons, James C. Randall (Bobbie Jo) of Binghamton, New York and Richard C. Randall of Franklin; two sisters, Judy Rogers and Susan Nixon (Bill); and seven grandchildren, Rebecca Beck (Ian), Emily and Jonathan Iseminger and Jesse, Kaitlynn, Brayden and Cody Randall.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Cornette officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
