Nearly 550 students at Bridgewater College, including one from Franklin and one from Courtland, were named to the fall 2022 dean’s list, which was announced by Provost and Executive Vice President Dr. Leona A. Sevick. 

A Thursday, Jan. 12, Bridgewater College news release noted that students on the dean’s list have attained a 3.4 or better grade-point average out of a possible 4.0.

The honorees included Laurel Edwards, of Franklin, and Peyton Randall, of Courtland.

Randall is majoring in business administration, and Edwards is a health and exercise science major.

Bridgewater College is a private, four-year liberal arts college located in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Founded in 1880, it was the state’s first private, coeducational college. Today, BC is home to approximately 1,450 students.
