The students of Sarah Graham’s Meherrin Elementary School kindergarten class were busy learning about the election process during the month of November.
An MES news release noted that the students learned about the two “candidates,” Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies and Oreo cookies. They compared the two, discussing pros and cons of each. The students then made a selection on their ballot and placed it in the ballot box.
“For Mrs. Graham’s class, Oreos won by a landslide,” school officials stated. “Keep learning and growing, Meherrin Eagles!”
