Oct. 2 was National Custodial Appreciation Day, and a Nottoway Elementary School news release noted that the school said “Thank you!” to “three of the very best custodians around. Mrs. Joan Austin, Ms. Teresa Peden and Mr. Earl Branch work very hard to keep Nottoway clean and sanitized. Nottoway appreciates you!” Austin and Branch pose together in one photo, and Peden is featured in the other.
