COURTLAND – On Nov. 2, 2022, Alice Smith transitioned to be with the Lord after a short illness.

Alice Smith a.k.a “Alee” was born on Feb. 20, 1930 to the late Ernest and Cherrine Smith in Southampton County, Virginia.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 14 at David Temple AME Zion Church in Courtland at 1 p.m. A viewing will be at noon. William Engram Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
