Downtown Franklin will be a hub of activity Thursday evening, Oct. 27, as the city holds its annual Boo Bash, featuring more offerings than in the past.

“We’ve expanded that this year again, like we did last year,” Franklin City Manager Amanda C. Jarratt said. “So we’ll have pumpkin painting at the farmers market from 6-7 p.m., and then we’ll show a movie down at Barrett’s Landing, so please bring a chair or blanket and enjoy that family friendly opportunity.”

There will be trick-or-treating opportunities with downtown businesses from 5-6 p.m.

The movie playing from 7-8:30 p.m. at Barrett’s Landing will be the 2022 film “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.”

Jarratt also made a point to highlight some other key city events on the horizon. The Holiday Open House & Craft Fair will be from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Nov. 12, Small Business Saturday will be from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Nov. 26, and the Franklin Christmas Parade will start at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2.

“So lots of activities coming up that I wanted to make everyone aware of,” she said.
