The 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit made its way through downtown Suffolk Friday, Oct. 7 on its way to the 44th Annual Suffolk Peanut Fest at the city’s Executive Airport. First responders from Suffolk and surrounding localities including Franklin and Carrsville led the procession down North Main Street, continuing down Carolina Road as it made its way to the festival site, where it was on display for people to visit throughout Peanut Fest. People were also able to see a steel beam from the 92nd floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center from 9/11. We salute all First Responders and thank you for your service.
