The Raiford family reunion will be held at the Bronco Club on Saturday, Oct, 22, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. A number of children’s activities are planned. Relatives are asked to bring a dish to share and a chair for sitting outside if the weather permits. Drinks and paper products will be provided. If you have family photos, Bibles, trees and memorabilia, bring them to set up by 10:30 a.m.so they can be shared with everyone before lunch. On Sunday, Oct. 23 plans are to attend the 11 a.m. service at Corinth Friends Meeting which was chartered by Raiford ancestors and allied families in 1882. Afterward, enjoy a tour of local Raiford cemeteries, homes of Dr. Rufus L. Raiford, and local cemeteries where ancestors are buried. If time permits there will be a visit to the Southampton County Agriculture and Forestry Museum in Courtland.
